Assassin's Creed Syndicate's twin protagonists, Jacob and Evie Frye could very well be the long running series most interesting main characters yet. IGN visits Ubisoft's Quebec studios to take an inside look into the history of the two personalities that help bring the world of Assassin's Creed Syndicate to life.

Jacob & Evie Frye might be the most interesting personalities of the Assassin's Creed series

For Austin Wintory, the Grammy-nominated composer behind Journey, and several film projects, creating the music for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was all about analyzing the characters and the city of London. Especially the twin protagonists, Jacob and Evie Frye, and letting their personalities and attributes drive the direction and tone of the soundtrack.

Ubisoft announced a couple of days ago that Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be getting a Jack The Ripper DLC, taking place 20 years after the period of Syndicate. The Jack The Ripper DLC will be part of the Season Pass and will se players joining forces with Inspector Frederick Abberline of Scotland Yard, to hunt down Jack The Ripper.

Creative director, Marc-Alexis Côté, explains that they did not want to bring Assassin's Creed to the modern age of the Industrial Revolution, until they felt that the technology was there to enable them to recreate their vision, so as he states, they “had to wait for the technology to catch up".

Assassin's Creed Syndicate comes out on Xbox One and PS4 on October 23 2015, with a PC release to follow on November 19. We will bring you any new information as soon as it becomes available.
