Peach's hair does look kind of nice but CryZENx mentions that it's still a work in progress, so we can expect a lot of improvement on both the model and the hair. With the recent Nintendo's NX rumors generating anticipation for the big N's next-gen system, which is supposedly coming in 2016, it's nice to get teases like this, indicating what these iconic characters might look like on the upcoming system. Nintendo's NX is said to feature Industry Leading chips

Nintendo's NX is rumored to be featuring "Industry Leading" chips, which previously were suggested to be coming from AMD, so Princess Peach, if she is actually getting a hair salon treatment it will most likely be coming courtesy of AMD's TressFX 3.0. It will surely be exciting to see how it turns out.

Other projects featuring Nintendo characters have surfaced lately, as the Mario in Unreal Engine 4 project as well as ArtistArtorias Kakariko Village from the incredible action adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, being recreated in the Unreal Engine 4, which certainly makes every Zelda fan long for a next-gen adventure.

Other Nintendo characters have also recently been getting some nice fan projects

CryZENx has previously released a DirectX 12 tech demo for Unreal Engine 4, combining his Metroid Prime project with Epic’s Sun Temple Demo, in which players can control Samus in the Sun Temple in both third-person and first-person perspective, and even morph into a ball. The tech demo is based on Unreal Engine 4.9 (Preview 4 version). He also made available his NVIDIA PhysX Flex demo for download, in which users can control all the characters featured in his previous Unreal Engine 4 Kite environment videos, including Link from The Legend of Zelda series, Mario, Sonic, Pokemon Charmander and Kirby.
