Biostar has already started working on the new LGA 1155 socket motherboards and two motherboards have been revealed. The new LGA 1155 socket will use the latest “Sandy Bridge” processor architecture. Biostar showed two LGA-1155 motherboards based on the Intel’s P67 and H67 chipset. The H67 is designed to use the integrated graphics within the CPU while the other will have to use an external GPU with it.

TP67XE is the latest motherboard which is based on the P67 chipset. The processor will be powered up by a 4+2 Phase VRM and will have four DDR3 DIMM slots for dual channel memory support. The motherboard will have the latest USB 3.0 and Sata 6 Gb/s technology. The expansion slots will include 2 pci-e x 16 slots with one running at 4x, two pci-e x1 and 2 PCI slots.

The other board is the TH67XE which is based on the H67 chipset and is a micro – ATX form factor board. Most of the specs are same as the previous board with a simple VRM for power and 4 DDR3 DIMM memory slots for dual channel configuration. This mother board features display connectivity so Intel’s latest integrated GPU can be used. The expansion slots include two PCI-e x16 slots, one pci-e x1 and a single PCI slot.
