The wait is over, and the HTC Hero finally gets Android 2.1 in 3.31.751.1 update, which has been launched for users in Asia, with Europe to follow shortly, and the wait seems to finally over for the HTC Hero users who had been using the Android 1.5 on their Hero, which is pretty obsolete. Upgrade to version 2.1 was expected a few months back, and now it is here, and can be downloaded Over-The-Air.
It has been a long awaited update, and may not run as good as on a later device considering HTC Hero's comparatively low-spec hardware, but finally, it is here!
