Earlier today the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain has received a new update finally introducing Metal Gear Online, but this isn't the only new feature coming to the game on all formats. Today Konami will be launching some new FOB events in all regions, and one of these events will allow players to obtain the blueprint for a very interesting new item.

One of the new Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain FOB events launching today is the Bound Dragon event, a mission which allows players to practice for real infiltration missions without fear of retaliation. This event has been made available already in the past, only that this time it's possible to obtain the E-RB WH GEN (Wormhole Generator) blueprint by exchanging obtained Event Points. Additional S++, S+ and S staff members can also be obtained by exchanging Event points.

One more Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain FOB event launching today is related to the new Wormhole Generator. Thanks to this event, players will be able to get a bonus of 30.000 Event Points if they have developed the new item at the end of the next maintenance period coming next week.

The Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain Wormhole Generation isn't a complete surprise for those who have been following the game's latest news. Last week we have reported that some players have discovered some of the future FOB events rewards in the game's files. Among the upcoming rewards will be new uniforms and new weapons and items, such as today's Wormhole Generator and more.

Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain is now available in all regions on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
