With less than a month left until its launch, Samsung's Galaxy S7 has been an increasing feature of rumors and leaks lately, especially over the past couple of days. We've seen information surface which ranges from performance benchmarks to processor ratios and have quite a good idea of what to expect from the device next month in Spain. Today, some information about the device's specifications has surfaced which confirms what we already know about it so far.
Samsung's Galaxy S7 Sees Slides Surface With Specifications In The Mix
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S7, owing to the countless rumors and leaks which have taken place over the past couple of months we have a fair idea of what to expect from the flagship smartphone from Samsung this year. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 and Samsung's Exynos 8890, both of which are expected to offer top tier performance and specifications.
In the camera side of things we've heard conflicting news, with several sources suggesting that the device will be coming with an upgraded camera resolution of 23MP. Others have gone to suggest that while the camera resolution on the Galaxy S7 will decrease this year (contrary to long time Samsung traditions), the company will instead be equipping the device with a 12MP, Dual PD camera sensor, which should greatly improve performance and image capturing.
Considering the specifications mentioned above, and today's slide leak, we see that Samsung's Galaxy S7 just might come offering everything that we've told you so far. The device is listed with the Snapdragon 820 and the Exynos 8890 on board with the rear camera being a Samsung BRITCELL sensor with resolution 12MP. Screen size for the Galaxy S7 should be 5.1 inches with resolution being 1440p. 4GB of RAM will be supplementing the Exynos so all in all, the Galaxy S7 should see itself right at the top of 2016's high performance mobile smartphones.
When it comes to the design of the device however, information so far suggests a mixed picture so far. Samsung's expected to pay more attention to the Galaxy S7's performance this time around, with several features such as pressure sensitive touch display and motion photography also being rumored so far. The Galaxy S7 should be expected to be made completely out of metal but with some rumors suggesting a MicroSD slot as well, we're eager to see how it turns out.
