With a week left until the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, there isn't much that's left for us to speculate on. Courtesy of the rumor mill, we've gotten to see nearly every specification and feature about both the devices surface so far and by the looks of things so far, Samsung is on the right track for its 2016 flagship smartphone launches. Today, yet another image of the Samsung Galaxy S7 has surfaced, showing the device from its side and you can take a look at it below.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Side Image Shows Thin Form And Minimal Camera Protrusion
As we've started to sink in February, more and more images of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge have started to surface. Little design changes are expected from the Korean manufacturer this year on the Galaxy S lineup, with Samsung expected to focus instead on the Galaxy S7's performance and multimedia features more this time around.
That being said, today's image of the Galaxy S7 shows that Samsung really has managed to get a grip on flagship smartphone design since last year's Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. As you can see in the image above, not only do the rear and the front of the device blend in rather nicely with each other, but the camera sensor doesn't appear to be that much of a sight for sore eyes when it comes to protrusion.
The finish of the device doesn't seem that bad either so when it comes to design, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge shouldn't be expected to disappoint at all. Specification wise, both the devices are expected to come with industry leading processors in the form of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 and the Exynos 8890.
Rear camera is expected to receive special attention this year, with Samsung decreasing the resolution of the Galaxy S7's rear camera to 12MP. This will be compensated by a Dual-Photodiode camera sensor, which should improve motion photography and video recording significantly on the device. Additionally, we're also expecting all new multimedia hardware on the devices, coupled with rumored pressure sensitive screens.
