[UPDATED – PC Update Delayed] Just Cause 3 New Update Launches Later Today, To Introduce Performance Optimizations And More

[Update] A few minutes ago, Avalanche confirmed that the New Just Cause 3 update is going to be delayed for the PC version of the game. PC gamers should expect it next week, according to the team.

[Original Story] Just Cause 3, the latest entry of the series developed by Avalanche Studios now available in all regions on consoles and PC, is going to receive its first DLC pack later this month. In preparation of the pack's release, a new update is going to be released later today, introducing fixes and improvements that will vastly improve the experience.

Among the improvements that will be included in the soon to be released Just Cause 3 update will be reduced loading times, fixes for memory leaks resulting in crashes and plenty of performance optimizations.

As already mentioned, the first Just Cause 3 DLC pack, called Sky Fortress, is going to be released later this month on all formats. All those who have purchased the Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pass will be able to download the Sky Fortress DLC from March 8th. Everyone else, will be able to do so from March 15th

Sky Fortress (available standalone for $11.99 / €11.99 / £9.49) – Contains a brand new set of missions that introduce a new threat – a huge and terrifying Sky Fortress and an army of deadly robotic drones. To tackle his deadly new adversary, Rico Rodriguez will use a new upgradeable, rocket-powered, weaponised ‘Bavarium Wingsuit’ fitted with shoulder mounted machine guns and auto targeting missiles – alongside his new ‘Eviction’ personal defence drone and ‘Bavarium Splitter’ assault rifle.

Just Cause 3 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
