A few hours ago, Nintendo has released a new patch for Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, the latest entry of the popular series featuring characters taken from Nintendo series and other popular franchises. As it usually is with patches for Nintendo games, full patch notes haven't been released, but thankfully some users have been analyzing the confirmed balance changes, revealing some interesting changes for a few characters.

Super Smash Bros

Among the characters that have been tweaked by the Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS 1.5 patch are DLC character Corrin and Mewtwo. Many of Corrin's attacks have been tweaked, now dealing less damage than before. Mewtwo's, on the other hand, got his running speed increased in a rather noticeable way, making him now as fast as Sheik.

DLC character Cloud has also received some tweaks which will definitely force those using him as their main character to rethink their approach. Not only damage for some of his attacks, such as his Up Air attack, has been reduced, but also the knockback caused by Finishing Touch. As the move can defeat opponents even at low percentages, this change is a rather big one. His Limit Break charge also takes slightly longer than before.

Many other characters have also been tweaked in a variety of ways. You can check out partial details of the latest Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS balance changes by going here.

The final two Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS DLC characters have been released last month, Corinn from Fire Emblem Fates and Bayonetta from the Platinum Games developed action series. The two characters come with some very unique fighting styles which vastly expand the experience.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS is now available in all regions on each respective console. The 1.5 patch is now available for download in both regions on both formats.
