As we head toward Apple's event on the 21st, leaks related to the Cupertino company's upcoming product lineup have started to increase in number. While a couple of weeks back we saw information surface about the company's expected upcoming lineup of products, recently we've seen the iPhone 7 become more popular. With the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Pro, the company's expected to bring several much needed changes on board, especially in terms of design. Today's leak confirms what we've seen earlier, so take a look below to find out more.

Another iPhone 7 Rear Shell Image Shows Redesigned Antenna Bands

While it would have been more interesting to see information, especially in terms of images surface about the rumored iPhone SE and the iPad Pro Mini, looks like the rumor mill's content with the iPhone 7. Its fair to say however that the smaller iPhone isn't expected to change much in design from the iPhone 5s; Apple's first major design success since Tim Cook took over.

With the iPhone 7, information so far suggests that we should be expecting subtle design overhauls, with the changes mostly to do with enhancing external connectivity for the device. There have been some interesting rumors the likes of the absence of an earphone port, and a smart connector (leaked yesterday) which could indicate that Apple's going to start to tie accessories more closely to the iPhone this year; a trend that's started to gain momentum in the Android world.

In fact, in addition to a smart connector, we also saw redesigned antenna bands for the iPhone 7 Pro in yesterday's image. While the overall frame of the device follows a similar approach to the iPhone 6, if you take a look at the image above (today's) and the image below, looks like Apple's trying really hard to make antennas as little a part of the overall structure as it can.

iPhone 7 Plus

Interestingly however, if you look closely, while redesigned antenna bands do appear to be present on the iPhone 7, the alleged Smart Connector seems to missing over here. That does give a rather nice twist to things, as either the option won't be coming this year at all or that we might only see increasing accessory support on the larger iPhone.

If Apple does choose to go the second way, then what differences will the iPhone 7 Pro offer over the iPad lineup apart from a smaller screen size might become an important part of the company's even six months from now. Given the highly preliminary nature of these leaks, we wouldn't advise you to take anything as set in stone for now, even as leaks start to become increasingly accurate these days.

Right now, all eyes are set on the company's upcoming event set to take place in just six days from now. It should set the pace for upgrades and launches for 2016, so there are only a couple of days until things become more clear. So stay tuned for the latest and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
