Apple Events App Has Been Launched On The tvOS App Store Ahead Of Monday’s Media Event

The Rumor Mill keeps heating up ahead of Apple's March 21 media event on Monday. Just today, a leaked packaging of the iPhone SE has confirmed the name of the smaller handset which will come with a 16GB baseline model and NFC support for Apple Pay. To make it easier for users to watch the 'let us loop you in' media event, the company has released a native application named, Apple Events for the forth-generation Apple TV in the tvOS App Store. Let's see the app in a little more details.

Apple's invite-only press conference has been scheduled for Monday. Just a few days before the media event, Apple has released an app for those with a forth-generation Apple TV. The Apple Events app will allow users to stream the upcoming live event with ease. Moreover, users will be able to watch previous broadcasts and replays right on Apple's set-top box. According to Apple, “The Apple Events app offers live and on-demand video of the company’s most important announcements, including presentations by Apple CEO Tim Cook,”

So if you own the forth-generation Apple TV, download the Apple Events app from the tvOS App Store. The page for the forthcoming event has already been updated. However, currently it displays a message for users to tune in at 6pm local time on March 21. That is when the Apple media event will be live. So do download the app from the tvOS App Store and wait till Monday for the event to take place.

Once you have downloaded the Apple Events app from the tvOS App Store, you will see that under the 'Other Events' section, the application provides users with the quick-access to on-demand replays for videos of the previous media events. The app is pretty plain and ease to use. Since there are no complexities involved, a user can jump right into the live broadcast and play replays at will. Moreover, the application is reliable to use and all in all a pretty good experience compared to the previous methods of watching Apple's media events.

Just go to the the tvOS App Store on your Apple TV 4 and type 'Apple Events'. Download, install and wait for Monday. You can also watch the company's past media events too if you're interested. The app is available absolutely for free so this is definitely a plus for some users.
