Alongside the impressive collection of Witcher pictures, Karolewski also shared a short message. According the illustrator, it was a crazy time for him, and he lost half his weight while drawing the art.

It was a crazy time for me. I didn't know what it is a dream. Day and night merge into one another. I lost half of my weight. I failed a few times deadline. It hung over me a curse. But I finally did it!

Since its release back in May of 2015, The Wither 3 has earned over 800 awards, including 251 Game of the Year Awards. The most recent GOTY-award was collected during the Game Developers Conference in San Francesco last week.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the open-world fantasy role-playing game from developer CD Projekt RED, was honored with the Game of the Year award at tonight’s 16th annual Game Developers Choice Awards ceremony during the 2016 Game Developers Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

The acclaimed title also received the award for Best Technology for its complex game engine that combines brilliant visuals with a huge game world.

While the game will be the last Witcher title that revolves around Geralt, new downloadable content for the RPG is inbound. The expansion, called 'Blood and Wine' is scheduled for a release in the first half of this year, and will feature a 20 hour plus story. Geralt will be taken to Toussaint - "a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret".
