iOS 9.3 Night Shift ‘Sunset To Sunrise’ Schedule Option Missing? Here’s How To Get It Back

Uzair Ghani

If the 'Sunset to Sunrise ' schedule option for Night Shift is missing in iOS 9.3 on your device, then here's what you need to do to bring it back.

iOS 9.3 Night Shift

iOS 9.3 Night Shift is a great way to reduce the strain on your eyes, and help you sleep better at night, at least that's what Apple claims. And as you dive into the Night Shift feature itself, you'll come to realize that Apple has thrown in a bunch of options into the mix, allowing you to either kickoff Night Shift at a specific time, or schedule it from sunset till sunrise. But oddly enough, some people are noticing that the 'Sunset to Sunrise' feature is missing from the scene, with some complaining that the option was once there and has now made an exit for no apparent reason. Don't panic, everything is right there in its place and all you need to do is follow the steps written below to get things back on track again.

Bring Back Missing 'Sunset To Sunrise' Schedule Option For iOS 9.3 Night Shift

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Now tap on Privacy.

3. Tap on Location Services.

4. Now tap on System Services.

5. Look for a toggle switch called 'Setting Time Zone.' Tap to enable it, or turn it ON in other words.

6. Now go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift. Tap on the 'Scheduled' toggle switch to turn it on and then tap on the 'From To' option that appears at the bottom. You'll now notice that the 'Sunset to Sunrise' option has made a dramatic comeback.

iOS 9.3 Night Shift – How It Works, How To Set It Up

Apart from the 'Sunset to Sunrise' option making a comeback, you have also learned today that little toggle switches that apparently don't mean anything can have a diverse affect on other features of iOS as well. We recommend users to refrain from going on a 'toggle off' spree, as the outcome can be uncertain in a lot of situations.

The 'Sunset to Sunrise' option is brilliant given the fact that the device adjusts itself for Night Shift mode without any sort of user intervention. After all, you don't want to change the schedule time from time to time knowing that days are getting longer during the summers, right? Of course not.
