The best part about the addition of a new Direct Messages button is that users will be able to spark a private conversation right from their timeline. The Messages button will roll out later today for both, iOS and Android applications. The inline Messages button is present in every tweak so all you have to do is tap on it and you will be redirected to a private conversation.
The button is conveniently located on the right side of the Reply, Retweet and Like button on every tweet that you see on your timeline. When you tap the Messages button, it will elope the tweet in a private chat. The forthcoming update is the result of complaints that users portrayed through their feedback that there should be an easier way to send or share a tweet in Direct Messages. The firm stated, “So now—in just a few taps—you can share unique Twitter content from your timeline right into your private conversation.”
Since a bevy of target audience like, brands, experts and anyone who wants to share something privately use the Direct Message feature, the company has taken a positive approach in listening to its customers. In 2015, over 60 percent of messages were seen to grow. Moreover, in the second half of the last quarter, the number of tweets shared also increased by 200 percent. The firm claims that the introduction of a new Messages button alongside the posts is a step further in to making conversations richer and easy to initiate.
