HTC 10 Expected To Be The Company’s Most Attractive Smartphone Yet

HTC 10 is already being expected to be the company’s most attractive smartphone, on account that that Taiwanese phone manufacturer puts a great deal of effort in making sure that the unibody chassis stands out against the competition. HTC phones have always looked terrific, but thanks to its terrible business practices ranging from ridiculously high price tags to lack of marketing, the firm has been unable to get the necessary amount of traction for several months now.

Hopefully, HTC 10 is going to change all of that tomorrow, provided the company decides to mend its ways as well. Given below is the official unveiling video of the smartphone and while it has not been confirmed what kind of hardware is going to be packing inside, we have an idea of what is going to be present. First off, HTC 10 is expected to sport really good battery life.

This could either mean one of two things, or both of them. Either the battery capacity could be increased substantially, or HTC could have toned its custom UI in such a manner that it consumes even less battery when not in use, along with several other optimizations and tweaks. Additionally, HTC 10 is also said to be incorporated with amazing sound quality, which gives rise to the speculation that the device could be facing dual front-facing speakers. Most manufacturers (like Samsung and its Galaxy S7) have compromised on sound by providing a really small speaker grill, so HTC 10 could capitalize on this limitation by featuring really impressive speakers.

Additionally, HTC 10 could also feature one of the best smartphone cameras ever, but we will find this out during the official unveiling of the device. Earlier, during 2015, the company introduced its ‘UH OH’ program with the company’s M9, where it practically replaces your smartphone with brand new one, should it receive any water damage for a period of 12 months, and that too without asking for additional money in the process.

This is definitely a stepping stone for the company but what could really give HTC 10 a nice little head start is if it introduced a monthly payment as well as a trade-in program to allow consumers with financial constraints to get the opportunity to own a premium smartphone. Not everybody has the monetary capacity to shell out between $600-$650 in a single purchase and we feel that HTC 10 could be sold very well if the company decides to take these three strategies. Summarizing this, HTC has three options that it can use its advantage:

  • Retain its ‘UH OH’ program
  • Introduce a monthly payment program
  • Introduce a trade-in program (not just for HTC branded smartphones, but majority of the brands out there)

Do you guys think that HTC 10 can rake some substantial sales for the company? Let us know your thoughts right away.
