Apple’s ultra-thin MacBook has been announced, and to revel in the notebook’s thickness, take a look at the official images of the notebook.

Take A Look At The Gallery Of The 12-Inch MacBook And See The Level Of Thickness And Detail

The 12-inch MacBook will sport the following processors. Their base clock speed, Turbo Boost speed and highest configuration model have been detailed below:

  • Intel Core m3: Dual-core running at 1.1GHz, up to 2.2GHz
  • Intel Core m5: Dual-core running at 1.2GHz, up to 2.7GHz

Both models can be upgrade to a Skylake Core m7 processor, which is also a dual-core chip and features a Turbo Boost speed of 3.1GHz. The 8GB of RAM will be running at DDR3 speeds, but Apple has made sure that the default clock speed starts from 1866MHz and the storage models will start from 256GB of PCIe flash storage and go all the way up to 512GB. On Apple’s website, the dimensions of the 12-inch MacBook has been listed below, according to other details as well:

  • Height: 0.14–0.52 inch (0.35–1.31 cm)
  • Width: 11.04 inches (28.05 cm)
  • Depth: 7.74 inches (19.65 cm)
  • Weight: 2.03 pounds (0.92 kg)

  • 480p FaceTime camera

Battery life is definitely going to be one of the key features of the notebook lineup, and according to the details posted on the company’s product page, the MacBook family will be able to deliver the following backup time.

  • Up to 10 hours wireless web browsing
  • Up to 11 hours iTunes movie playback
  • Up to 30 days of standby time
