Although iOS 9.3.2 is a small update, focusing mainly on bug fixes and performance enhancements, but Apple has slipped in one change which will appease a lot of users out there - the ability to turn on Night Shift and Low Power Mode at the same time.

Apple baked in Night Shift mode with iOS 9.3, and while the feature is brilliant in a lot of ways, many users were left puzzled as to why the Cupertino giant doesn't allow them to turn on said feature parallel to Low Power Mode. But thankfully, using a simple trick, you can indeed turn on Low Power Mode as well Night Shift at the same time. In other words - the method is absolutely unofficial with no support from Apple itself. It was more of a workaround than something solid.
Fast forward to today and we have iOS 9.3.2 beta 2 on the radar, ready to be downloaded by developers, with official support for turning on Night Shift and Low Power Mode at the same time. An absolute welcome addition if you're asking us.
But don't get excited way too much. Because iOS 9.3.2 is in its beta stages, and there are chances that the final build might not allow users to use Night Shift and Low Power Mode at the same time. And given that both features are allowed to be turned on at the same time in the second beta, our gut feeling suggests that this change is going to be permanent. We could be wrong though, and we'll know for sure in the days and weeks to come.
Low Power Mode gives users a few extra minutes of battery life before things come to a standstill. It works by limiting certain services on our iPhones or iPads, such as turning off push email service, background app refresh and whatnot.
Night Shift on the other hand, is a very killer feature in iOS 9.3.x, giving users a good sense of time during usage throughout the day. Also, it helps the user sleep better at night, thanks to the warmer tint of the display. And with today's news, we're somewhat excited that users won't be left out of the Night Shift party if their device is on Low Power Mode after sunset.
