Last week, it's been a very good week for fans of the Resident Evil series, as the new entry of the series, Resident Evil 7, has finally been revealed during the E3 2016. While development is still proceeding, players can already try out the game with the playable teaser, which has shown how much P.T has influenced the new entry of the Capcom series. The new entry of the series, however, isn't the only new entry of the series Capcom has in the works for the Resident Evil 20th Anniversary, according to the game's producer.

In a new interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Resident Evil 7 producer Kawada Masachika and director Nakanish Koushi have talked about the game's development, themes and what they are trying to achieve. At the end of the interview, Kawada Masachika revealed that there's another yet to be announced title for the 20th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. Even though it's not clear if he was referring to the Resident Evil 2 remake or another brand new title, it's still good news for fans of Resident Evil who had to wait so long to finally learn more about the next entry of the series. It's also been confirmed that Resident Evil 7 is almost 65% done, so things are definitely proceeding smoothly.

As mentioned above, Resident Evil 7 has been revealed as Resident Evil 7: Biohazard during the Sony E3 2016 conference, with a playable teaser made available shortly after on the PlayStation Store. The playable tease is a unique experience that won't be included in the final game. The new entry of the Capcom series clearly shows its P.T. influence with its first person view, but the publisher confirmed that the game was in development before the reveal of P.T., and no P.T. staff is currently working on Resident Evil 7.

Resident Evil 7 will launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Januray 24th. We will keep you updated on the game as well as on the yet to be announced other Resident Evil 20th Anniversary title as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
