Pokemon GO for iOS and Android has been updated with a lot of changes. Here's the complete changelog.

Pokemon GO Picks Up A Lot Of Fixes And Changes On Both iOS And Android

We love app updates as they tend to bring with them a handful of changes occasionally. Today, Pokemon GO turned out to be a recipient of a healthy update on both iOS and Android. Some changes are quite obvious while some gives us relief that the developer is working hard in the background to ensure the smooth running of the title.

The complete changelog of the update is as follows:

- Trainer avatars can now be re-customized from the profile screen
- Adjusted some Pokémon battle move damage values
- Refined certain Gym animations
- Improved memory issues
- Removed footprints of nearby Pokémon
- Adjusted battle damage calculation
- Various bug fixes during wild Pokémon encounter
- Updated Pokémon details UI
- Updated achievement medals art
- Fixed issues with displaying certain map features
- Minor text fixes

This is the biggest update yet since the game was released a while back. Users now have the ability to re-customize their avatars if they so wish, while at the same time certain animations and UI elements have been polished up.

One change that made us cringe was the removal of footprints of nearby Pokemon. But one has to agree that the system was broken in the first place. So instead of fixing it up, Niantic found it more appropriate to remove it altogether. We can't really say how this change will go down for users. But that's that.
