AMD launched two new Firestream cards which are based on the RV870 chipset, which is previously used in the much successful HD 5870. The new cards are built for high performance GPU computing needs so seeing the GPU's being used for gaming is not going to happen.

The Two acrds are named 9370 and 9350. The 9370 comes with a massive 4GB GDDR5 memory and uses one PCI-e x16 slot while consuming 225W of power. The connectivity feature of the card include a display port output. The 9370 offers a single precision floating point of 2.64 teraflops while a double precision floating point of peak of 528 gigaflops. According to AMD's claim, the 9370 is twice as fast as its older predecessor 9270. The card is also good for OpenCL and other GPU computing tools.

While the 9350 comes with a lower memory of 2GB GDDR5 while having a power consumption of 150 , priced at $799.
