Apple has released the next in line update for iTunes. The latest update jumps up the version to 12.4.3 that adheres to bugs discovered in the previous update. The bug caused the changes made in playlist to not appear on iTunes. Henceforth, version 12.4.3 being a minor update fixes this playlist syncing issue. iTunes 12.4.3 Released That Fixes Playlist Syncing Across Devices
A little while ago, Apple released the latest betas for iOS 10, macOS Sierra, tvOS 3 and watchOS 3. It seems like a good time for Apple to release its iTunes update alongside the firmware betas. So if you haven't updated your iTunes software just yet and you're feeling hiccups in the playlist syncing process, now might be a good time to do so. Once you update iTunes to version 12.4.3, the syncing process should properly function as it was intended to be.
In contrast to the playlist syncing issue, the iTunes 12.4.3 changelog reads:
This update resolves an issue where playlist changes made on other devices may not appear in iTunes.
It's good that Apple addressed the issue for users were unable to see the changes made in playlist on iTunes. Henceforth, the bug in the syncing process has now been fixed. So if you haven't already, update iTunes to the latest version, 12.4.3. The new update is now available and can be downloaded from the Mac App Store via the Software Update Mechanism. Other than this, you can also update iTunes to version 12.4.3 from the Updates tab.
The last update that iTunes received came two weeks before today's update. The previous update fixed another bug that caused playback issues when listening to Apple Music tracks which were less than a minute long. However, the previous update did not adhere to the playback syncing bug. Nonetheless, the iTunes update is finally here and you can simply update to resolve the issues.
In terms of the updated beta software released today for iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS, we will update you guys as soon as we hear about a major front-facing feature. For now, all we know is that the update focuses on bug fixes and performance enhancements.
