Apple's upcoming flagship has seen a lot of attention from the rumor mill. These peg the device with a couple of upgrades. These include the removal of the 3.5mm earphone jack and camera upgrades. Early on, we also saw information about an alleged dual camera setup. Today, more has surfaced for that end. Take a look below to find out more.

Latest iPhone 7 Renders And Camera Rumors Suggest Intricate Upgrades

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus have been the center of countless rumors so far. From design changes to camera upgrades, Cupertino's flagships for 2016 should sustain the company's sales for another year. One of the rumored upgrades for photography has been a dual camera setup for the device. While initial rumors painted a bright picture for it, we soon began to hear some contradictions from some alleged Foxconn sources.

This led to the current 'picture' surrounding the iPhone 7 featuring no dual cameras and minimal upgrades. Today, we've got some more information for you surrounding the device's photographic capabilities. These, alongside some previous renders from Martin Hajek show both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. They also show a dual camera for the larger iPhone, so maybe the feature isn't dead completely. While nothing's set in stone, and we'd advise you to not take today's information as definite, it's still good speculation nevertheless.

China's weibo now suggests that while the iPhone 7 Plus might indeed feature a dual camera setup, Apple's also got some software related upgrades for photography this year. These are intended to provide more detail to images, particularly for long distance shots. According to today's news, the iPhone will use a special software algorithm for optical zoom, which should improve things quite a bit. Photography after all has been one of Apple's favorite features and this year shouldn't proceed without any focus on it.

There are also some suggestions about improved white balance for the smartphone, but they're quite irrelevant for now. There's still a month left until the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are launched by Apple. So more information should surface on the matter. A dual camera would sure be nice for the device, despite the rumor mill's claims against it. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned for the latest.
