Yesterday, Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive third person game Quantum Break, developed by Remedy Entertainment, is finally going to become available on Steam in a little over a month. Unlike the Windows 10 version, which only supports DirectX 12, the Steam release will be compatible with DirectX 11, which should solve some of the issues that many have encountered. Unfortunately, those who have already purchased the game on the Windows Store shouldn't expect any improvement coming to Quantum Break anytime soon.
On his official Twitter profile, Remedy's Head of PR Thomas Puha revealed that the Quantum Break Windows 10 release is "unlikely" to get another patch, which is definitely disappointing for those who cannot get a good performance in any way.

Yesterday, Microsoft also confirmed that the Quantum Break: Timeless Collector's Edition will launch at retail next month, including a variety of goodies. While other publishers have made goodies included in special editions available digitally, it seems like this won't be the case, as there are no plans to release the Making Of blu-ray and book digitally on Steam.
