As for the display, the screen is 25 percent brighter and can display a wide color gamut, and before you ask, the 3D Touch support has made a comeback here.

Water and Dust Resistant

The new iPhones are safe from water and dust because both of them are IP67 certified, meaning that those who are unable to take care of the devices from dust and water will not have to be worried about these elements.

A10 Fusion features a total of four processing cores. The first two cores are meant for tackling tasks that require the processing load, while the remaining two cores will tackle the low-end tasks. Additionally, the GPU in the iPhone 7 line is 240x faster than that of the original iPhone, while requiring just 2/3 of the power of the previous generation. Each performance CPU core is 40 percent faster than the A9 on the iPhone 6s. The efficiency cores run at 1/5th the power in order to converse as much battery life as possible.

Camera

For iPhone 7, Apple has incorporated a brand new 12MP rear camera on the rear side. There’s also an optical image stabilization chip present in both phones, and it features an aperture of F/1.8 to let in more light for better photography and videography. In addition, this new sensor is 60 percent faster and 30 percent more efficient. That’s not all, because the new image signal processor will be able to produce images with better tone. Furthermore, there’s also a 7MP front camera sensor, which features automatic image stabilization. For the phablet smartphone, iPhone 7 Plus, it has a dual camera and sports a 10x zoom feature. The 1-2x is Optical while the 2x-10x is software on top of the telephoto lens. Apple is using the telephoto lens to create a shallow depth of field on the iPhone 7 Plus in order to produce DSLR quality bokeh.

Earpods Connected Over the Lightning Port

Like rumors had suggested, Apple has removed the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. For the first time, Apple has used stereo speakers present at the top and the bottom of both iPhones. Apple’s lightning-based earpods will be included in the box, which is a good thing. The one thing that Apple has done very well is included Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter in the box, so you’ll have tremendous amounts of flexibility when compatibility is concerned. Just make sure not to lose that adapter.

Battery Life

According to Apple the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus deliver the best possible battery life from an iPhone in its class. The company states that with an iPhone 7, you can expect to get about 2 hours of battery more than what you were experiencing on your iPhone 6s. The iPhone 7 Plus on the other hand will be able to deliver at least 1 hour more compared to Apple’s iPhone 6s Plus. The talk time details have been given in the following screenshots.
