Apple's introduced quite a bit of changes for the iPhone this year. While they aren't as dramatic as one would blissfully hope, they're still upgrades. On the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, you'll finally be able to purchase 32GB variants as base models, which comes as good news all around. This year's devices also depart from the flashy flagship look on the lineup, to a much more sober approach. We get two new color options in the form of Black and Jet Black. These should entice a lot of you to upgrade, particularly those who are inclined towards a more 'masculine' touch. Wondering when you'll be able to order the pair and how much they'll cost? Wonder no more and head over below to find out.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Pre-Order and Pricing Details

If there's one thing that Apple's famous for, it's having outrageous prices for gadgets. Cupertino's always targeted the high end bracket, in terms of design, specifications and features. Those in the Android camp love to criticize Apple to charge more for less, sometimes rightly. Still, the iPhone is perceived as a top end smartphone for users who require an all round experience and aren't much for core hardware specifications.

If you're one of these, and are looking to pre-order one of the iPhone 7 or the iPhone 7 Plus for yourself, you've come to the right place. Pre-orders for the devices start on 9th of September and the devices will be launched on September 16th.

The highlight of this year's iPhone launch in terms of pricing and storage are 256GB variants for the pair. With 256GB, you shouldn't worry about loosing storage space on your device for quite a while, unless you're heavy on 4K recording. Even then, it will still be quite a while before storage issues arise. Apple doesn't allow for MicroSD storage extensions on the iPhone, and with 256GB there isn't any need for it really. Interestingly, if you want the new Jet Black option, you'll have to purchase it in either 128 or 256GB.

Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below. We'd say that things haven't changed much in Apple's pricing strategy for the iPhone. Not that they were expected to change or will change either. High prices blend in with Apple's strategy of differentiation and focus for the high end bracket. The dual camera upgrade for the iPhone 7 Plus solidifies this in particular. Stay tuned for our coverage of Apple's event today. And take your time before deciding to upgrade to the iPhone 7 or the iPhone 7 Plus. Cheers.
