Athlon II X4 615e will arrive in Q3 2010.

AMD has planned to launch its new Quad Core Processor which is based on AMD's K10.5 core in Q3 2010 and will be the fastest desktop Quad Core available.

Athlon II X4 615e which is the name of the CPU is based on Propus will not have L3 cache and will be clocked at 2.5Ghz at a low 45W TDP which is impressive for a Quad Core. The processor comes with 4x512KB L2 cache.

The processor will replace the current 45W  TDP, Athlon II X4 610e which is clocked at 2.4GHz. AMD also has 25W dual core Athlon II X2 2x0u CPUs but they have a pretty low clock speed of only 1.8Ghz. The price of the new Athlon II X4 615w is yet to be revealed.
