iOS 10.0.3 Download Released - Fixes Cellular Connectivity Issues for iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus Users

It came to light a few weeks back that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users were facing LTE connectivity issues. While there was a temporary workaround for the problem, but in the end users were left without voice over LTE capabilities. Not an ideal case if you're asking us.

The issue was limited mostly to Verizon users but a small majority of others were complaining about it as well. Luckily, it was reported at that time Apple and Verizon were both working together for a fix, and what do you know? The fix has knocked on our doorstep and is available for everyone to make use of.

The complete changelog of the iOS 10.0.3 update is as follows:

iOS 10.0.3 fixes bugs including an issue where some users could temporarily lose cellular connectivity.

The update is available for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users only and we highly recommend going ahead with the download without haste. You can start off by heading over to Settings > General > Software Update on your device. Over here the update will show itself in a few seconds, or minutes, depending on the speed of your Internet connection. Tap on the 'Download and Install' button to initiate the download process. Last but not the least, you will be required to restart your device to complete the entire process, so make sure you are ready for it.

The entire update process will take no more than a few minutes to complete. We recommend leaving your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus on charge during the installation process. You know, just to be on the safe side of the fence.

Since this is a small update, therefore take the over the air route in installing it - the one mentioned above. A clean install is only necessary if you're having a load of performance and battery related issues on your device. However, if you do want to go down that road, make sure you download the iOS 10.0.3 firmware files first from the links below. Rest is a simple case of updating using iTunes.
