Technology has improved so much in such a short time, which goes for gaming too. 10 years from now we usually had to wait around a minute or so for a game to load so we can start playing it but that's a thing of the past now.
Loading screens have been vanished from some current titles like Uncharted 2 where we get to see a Cutscene while the game loads and other game is Fifa where we have get to take pot-shots while the game loads in the background.
Killzone 3 is going to take one step forward and as confirmed by the managing director at Sony’s first party studio Herman Hulst, the game will entirely be streamed.
“We’re excited what the PS3 can do for us and what we can do for it… (speaking of loading screens), literally everything is streamed now”.
This will really be a step forward for Killzone as the previous Killzone had a lengthy wait time of up to 30 sec when playing Singleplayer and more than that while playing in online mode.
This sounds as a really good step for developers which will let player enjoy the Action based games without any pauses or Loading waits.
