Microsoft Surface Book $250 off

A part of its Black Friday 2016 promotions, Microsoft has decided to make its Surface Book more affordable for your wallet by offering a nice little discount on its beautifully crafted 2-in-1. This is going to be for the base model of the Surface Book, so let us give you a rundown of the hardware that’s going to be present inside the notebook before you decide to purchase it.

Surface Book With the $250 Discount Will Come With a Core i5 6th Gen Processor and 8GB of RAM

Before we give you a detailed rundown of the hardware present in the Surface Book, we should remind you that the discount has not been made for the Surface Book i7. Instead, it has been made for the base model of the Surface Book, which features Intel’s Core i5 processor, 128GB of internal memory and 8GB of RAM. While the notebook’s internal memory will hold you back, it will be intended to those who want to carry around their work with them, which also suggests that Microsoft wants to target it those who display an affinity towards machines with decent levels of processing power as well as portability.

According to Microsoft, the Surface Book will be able to give up to 12 hours of battery life, but that will also depend upon the sort of tasks you’ll be running on it. The notebook features a 13.5-inch PixelSense display with a resolution measuring at 3000 x 2000 pixels. For its I/O panel, it features the following:

  • Two full-size USB 3.0
  • Ultra-High Speed Full-size SD card reader
  • Headset jack
  • Mini Displayport
  • Surface Connect (allowing you to connect a dock for additional access to ports)

While it isn’t the most powerful of machines out there, a $250 discount could mean that Microsoft is going to introduce bigger sales in the future, so you should definitely watch out for those. If you’re still interested in purchasing the Surface Book for $1,249, visit the U.S. Microsoft Store and place your order immediately, because the deal will only be valid till November 28.
