OnePlus 3T available in the US

OnePlus 3T solved lots of issues that users and critics had with the OnePlus 3, thus improving its hardware in every manner possible while maintaining the same form factor. The smartphone is now available to purchase in the United States and Canada and we’ll be running you through on which model is available for immediate shipment.

Gunmetal Variant of OnePlus 3T Is Available for Immediate Shipment But You’ll Have to Wait for the Other Models

Visiting the OnePlus 3T page on the company’s website will show you different models with varied internal memory and colors. The Gunmetal version is available in both the 64 and 128GB capacity models and according to the company, this color model is going to be shipped immediately. However, if you wanted to get your hands on the Soft Gold version, then you will have to wait a while for that. OnePlus hasn’t specified a release date, so we’d recommend you to snag the Gunmetal version as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

One of the things that OnePlus 3T solves is the incorporation of a larger 3,400mAh battery and provides support for the same Dash Charge technology. It does not provide support for wireless charging, but then again, the smartphone isn’t retailing for $500 now is it? Sporting the same Optic AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution, some rumors suggested a 1440p panel was going to be used, but for the sake of increased battery life, the resolution across both devices was maintained.

6GB of RAM has been retained, and while there is no option to expand your storage, OnePlus 3T does allow you to purchase two models in the 64 and 128GB storage variants. If you’re a complete baller, then you will probably require the extra storage, especially if you’re going to be recording 4K footage. Thanks to the improved hardware, we have no doubt that the smartphone will comfortably be able to record footage at the aforementioned resolution. There’s also a 16MP front camera sensor, which will improve the overall resolution of the images.

The 64GB version costs $439, while the 128GB version costs $479, so you’re pretty much guaranteed a Daydream VR experience for less than $500. What else could you possibly hope for?
