According to one of these older rumors, the console's battery life is going to be much shorter than other handheld consoles, but it seems like things will be different in the final release.
In a new video shared by NateDrake on YouTube, the insider reveals some interesting information regarding the Nintendo Switch's battery life, confirming that the company is aiming to increase it to 5-8 hours from the older devkit, which came with a 3 hours life. Speaking about devkit, it seems like the final version is currently being shipped, with no notable changes in specs from the older devkit sent a few months back. Needless to say, the news about the Switch battery life are quite good, making playing on the go a more than viable option.
Yesterday, another rumor surfaced online regarding the Nintendo Switch, revealing that GameCube games may be offered through the Virtual Console service. Among the games that are getting prepped are Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine and the popular Super Smash Bros. Melee. It's also been revealed that the team working on the Switch Virtual Console is the same team behind the NES Mini Console, whose emulation system represents a definite step forward from the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console.
