Yesterday, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja updated the Nioh Japanese Official Website with a bunch of new screenshots showcasing locations, enemies, and weapons. It seems like we are still not done with new Nioh stuff this week, as brand new gameplay footage has been made available a few hours ago.

The new Nioh gameplay footage, shared by PlayStation Access, showcases the boss battle against Ogress while playing the game on PlayStation 4 Pro. The game already looks great on the original PlayStation 4, but it seems like it will look even better on the recently released console.

Rob and Nath talk through PSX footage of Tecmo Koei's hard-as Souls-ish third person action adventure RPG, Nioh, including a boss battle against the brilliantly designed Ogress.

Nioh will come with a few different modes on both the regular PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles. With these modes, players will be able to prioritize resolution or frame rate, allowing them to customize the experience in ways not normally possible on consoles.

PS4, Option 1: “Movie Mode”
This mode focuses on resolution over frame rate, offering beautiful high resolution graphics with stable 30fps

PS4, Option 2: “Action Mode”
Here the emphasis is on frame rate, providing a stable 60fps

PS4, Option 3: “Movie Mode (Variable frame rate)”
Finally, this option provides high resolution graphics with a variable frame rate that may go over 30fps.

PS4 Pro, HD display. Option 1: “Movie Mode”
Stable 1920×1080 resolution with high quality anti-aliasing at 30fps

PS4 Pro, HD display. Option 2: “Action Mode”
Stable 1920×1080 resolution at 60fps

PS4 Pro, 4K display. Option 1: “Movie Mode”
Stable 3840×2160 resolution at 30fps

PS4 Pro, 4K display. Option 2: “Action Mode”
Stable 1920×1080 resolution at 60fps

Nioh launches on February 9th exclusively on PlayStation 4.
