NVIDIA Launches Indie Bundle for New GTX1060/1050 Purchases

Alessio Palumbo

After the HTC Vive bundle, NVIDIA announced an indie bundle for those purchasing a new GTX 1060 or GTX 1050 GPU, system or laptop at participating retailers.

Customers interested in this indie bundle will be able to pick one among the following well-received games:

  • Maize, from Finish Line Games, is a just-released first-person adventure game about what happens when two scientists misinterpret a memo from the U.S. Government and create sentient corn. Explore an abandoned farm and a not-so-abandoned underground research facility as you solve puzzles and uncover the mysteries around Maize, and possibly learn a bit about yourself along the way. With a colorful cast of characters and an absolutely absurd world, Maize offers up a unique experience that keeps the surprises coming.
  • Redout, from 34BigThings, is a spiritual successor to classic arcade racing games such as F-Zero, Rollcage, and WipeOut. It’s designed to be an uncompromisingly fast, tough and satisfying driving experience, with a physically-led driving and physic model that rewards skill with even faster speeds. A sharp, low-polygon look is accentuated by the latest state-of-the-art Unreal Engine 4 shading and lighting effects, and a heart-pounding dynamic soundtrack gets your blood pumping for a classically-inspired, modern-day, futuristic arcade racer that can be played on or offline, and in all the latest Virtual Reality headsets.
  • Raw Data, from Survios, is one of the most immersive and exciting Virtual Reality games available (note, HTC Virtual Reality headsets require at least a GeForce GTX 1060). Take control of unique characters with special powers, weapons, and swords, and attempt to survive against waves of enemies on your own, or online with another player. Utilizing some of the best graphics and VR game mechanics seen to date, Raw Data is a breathtaking VR experience that’s getting better and better with each Early Access update.
