Earlier this month, Nier Automata producers Yosuke Saito and Eijiro Nishimura confirmed some of the differences between the regular PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro versions of the game. Today, thanks to a new analysis and comparison video, we have managed to learn more about the matter.

The Nier Automata demo Digital Foundry comparison video highlights how the game looks slightly better when running on PlayStation 4 Pro thanks to the full 1920x1080p resolution, better anti-aliasing, which seems to be completely absent from the regular PlayStation 4 version, better texture filtering, and per-object motion blur. Frame rate is slightly better on PlayStation 4 Pro, but both versions of the game suffer from dips below 50 FPS during big set pieces.

New Nier Automata gameplay footage has been made available earlier this week, showcasing some of the game's features such as sub-quests, customization and much more. New merchandise has also been shown, but it's only been confirmed for Japan as of now.

Nier Automata launches on PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in early March. The release date for the PC version has yet to be confirmed, but we will let you know more about the matter as soon as an announcement comes in, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
