AMD's fastest Ryzen CPUs, the 7 1800X, 1700X and 1700 are now available for pre-order with a February 28th launch date. The three CPUs have been listed by Belgian online retailer centralpoint.be and are up for grabs at €499, €389 and €319 respectively excluding VAT. Confirming their previously leaked $499, $389 and $319 US retail prices that we reported a couple of days ago.
The Ryzen 7 1800X, 1700X and 1700 are overclocking unlocked 8 core, 16 thread CPUs. The 1800X and the 1700X are Black Edition models, featuring AMD's unlimited Turbo "Auto-overclocking" XFR technology. Both of these chips have a TDP rating of 95W while the 1700 is rated at 65W.

AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, 1700X & 1700 Now Available For Pre-Order - Launching February 28th
The product description of the three chips on centralpoint.be has revealed that all three models will be released on the 28th of February. Interestingly, that's the very same day the company is kicking off its "Capsaicin & Cream" GDC 2017 press event. Which will be live-streamed and may even include a sneak-peek at AMD's upcoming enthusiast Vega GPUs.
The Ryzen 7 1700X and 1700 have been subject to multiple performance benchmark leaks, all of which have painted a very positive picture of Ryzen's multi-core and single-core performance. In fact, these sub $400 chips have competed favorably with Intel's $1000+ i7 5960X and i7 6900K 8 core Haswell-E and Broadwell-E CPUs.
Both the Ryzen 7 1800X and Ryzen 7 1700X have two listings each with a 20 Euro price difference and slightly different product IDs. We have seen product listings of both chips before at $499 and $389, where the chips were listed without a boxed stock cooler. This indicates that AMD could be launching these CPUs with and without stock coolers. Users who plan to overclock their Ryzen 7 1800X or Ryzen 7 1700X can pick up the same processors without a boxed cooling unit and save twenty bucks that they could spend towards purchasing a high-end cooling unit instead.
Three New Ryzen Coolers With RGB Lighting
This segues us neatly into talking about Ryzen's two brand new boxed coolers in addition to what appears to be an aesthetic update to the beloved Wraith cooler which debuted last year. The first of the three will come with 65W rated Ryzen CPUs, the second is for 95W CPUs and the third will likely be paired with Ryzen Black Editions. Black Editions are said to have the letter X at the end of their model numbers, like the 1800X and the 1700X for example.This is merely educated conjecture at this point. We won't know for sure until the end of the month.
The Wraith cooler features four copper heatpipes, the largest thermal mass by far of any stock processor heatsink that we've seen and a near silent fan that's considerably larger and more more effective than any of AMD's previous stock CPU cooling solutions. In fact, you wouldn't be able to guess that the Wraith unit is a stock CPU heatsink rather than a high-end aftermarket low profile unit had it not been for the AMD branding on the shroud.
If the above photo of Radeon Technologies Group Chief Graphics Architect Raja Koduri is anything to go by, all three new coolers will feature LED lighting. Perhaps even customizable RGB lighting. Seeing how magenta is not AMD's corporate or brand color, it's likely that Raja chose that custom color. It also appears from the rendering that the two smaller coolers actually have the same 92mm fan that comes with the Wraith, which is very good news. The new fan is significantly quieter than its small noisy predecessor.

ASUS AM4 X370 Crosshair VI Hero
ASUS AM4 motherboards for AMD's upcoming Ryzen CPUs have been listed online for pre-order with their specs, prices & launch dates made public a couple of days ago. The motherboards include two medium-range models featuring the B350 chipset and two high-end models featuring the X370 chipset. The specific models are the ASUS Prime B350M-A, Prime B350-PLUS, Prime X370-PRO and the Crosshair VI Hero. According to the product pages of all four boards, they're slated for release on the 24th of February.
Let's start with the Crosshair VI Hero, one of the company's highest end motherboards that will be available on day one. The Crosshair VI Hero feature a monochromatic color scheme to match any custom color scheme builders are going for. Power delivery is provided by an ROG exclusive high quality 8+4 phase digital VRM design. We can see a beefy 12 phase Digi+ PWM design. In terms of storage, the motherboard comes with 8 SATA 6 Gb/s ports and a single M.2 slot.

ASUS AM4 Prime B350-PLUS & Prime B350M-A
At the more mainstream and entry level end of the market ASUS will be introducing two Ryzen compatible AM4 motherboards on day one. Both of these boards are based on AMD's mainstream B350 chipset and as such support overclocking. Both boards feature an isolated audio design, 4 DDR4 DIMMs and six SATA 3 6Gb/s ports.
The Prime B350-PLUS is a standard ATX board with two full length PCIe slots, two x1 PCIe slots and two legacy PCI slots. The Prime B350M-A is a Micro-ATX form factor board with one full length PCIe slot and two x1 PCIe slots. It's difficult to discern how many USB 3 and USB 2 ports each of these boards has but one thing that's immediately noticeable is that the B350-PLUS is equipped with VRM heatsinks while the B350M-A lacks any kind of VRM cooling. So even though the B350M-A board does support overclocking, it would be ill-advised to attempt any significant clock speed increases or high voltage adjustments.

In theory B350 boards are capable of supporting CFX & SLI via two x8 PCIe 3 slots. AMD's initial statements -- which the company said were subject to change -- indicated that B350 boards will only be configured with a single x16 PCIe 3 slot. However, several B350 motherboards have been pictured featuring two or more full-length PCIe slots which suggests that the company may have changed its position on B350 multi-GPU support.
