The iPad 2 has JUST got announced at the Apple Developers Event that is dramatically thinner, 33% thinner. From 13.8mm down to 8mm thick! The iPad 2 sports an A5 dual core processor that runs at 1Ghz with 9 times more faster graphics and yet, same power consumption as the A4! The iPad 2 now also features HDMI output via its data dock port while you can charge your iPad at the same time! It is also available in either a choice of White or Black color combination. The most notable feature of the iPad 2 is the front facing camera as that was quite a missed feature regarding video calls and for applications such as Facetime.
The iPad 2 is also from 1.5 pounds down to 1.3 pounds in terms of weight!
As far as the pricing is concerned, the iPad 2 is available with or without 3G and the pricing starting from $499 to upto $829 that from various models that are either 15,32 and 64GB!
Also, the iPad 2 comes bundled with the latest iOS version that is iOS 4.3! With new features and applications added in the update, such as iMovie and Garageband, this will sure make one's experience with the Apple device a much more enjoyable one!

* Back camera: Video recording, HD (720p) up to 30 frames per second with audio; still camera with 5x digital zoom
* Front camera: Video recording, VGA up to 30 frames per second with audio; VGA-quality still camera
* Tap to control exposure for video or stills
* Photo and video geotagging over Wi-Fi
Apple will start shipping the iPad 2 as well as the iOS 4.3 update on 11th March and to other countries by 25th March!
