iPhone 8 September

The iPhone 8 is expected to get announced alongside its other counterparts during the month of September but earlier reports have detailed that the phone might not be available to purchase during that month. However, according to several analysts, customers wanting to get their hands on Apple’s latest and greatest iPhone must have quick trigger fingers to place their pre-orders and here’s the reason why.

iPhone 8 Supplies to Be in Extremely Limited Quantities, According to Analysts’ Reports

The iPhone 8 has been given several names so far ranging from iPhone X, iPhone Edition and even iPhone Pro. Whatever the official model name of the device might be, customers will definitely want to get their hands on the phone since it is going to be boasting a completely different design coupled with features not found on any iPhone before it.

According to the latest research from Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O'Malley, and Jerry Zhang (via MacRumors), customers will still be able to get their hands on the new iPhone during the month of September, but quantities are going to be extremely limited.

“Suppliers generally had good things to say about the upcoming iPhone 8 launch (for our purposes iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and iPhone Pro) as new features drive a more complicated manufacturing process and higher ASPs. We now believe that all three devices will feature wireless charging and will all be launched in the normal September timeframe, although the majority of iPhone Pro volumes may not be available until Q4.”

This report conflicts the information of an earlier released one that states that while the iPhone 8 will be announced alongside the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, it might not be sold until the later months of 2017. Information from these analysts claims that while users will still be able to upgrade to the new iPhone, the quantity available will be similar to that of the Jet Black iPhone 7 versions, which were extremely hard to come by if you remember.

Users had to wait weeks upon weeks to get their hands on these Jet Black iPhones, and it looks like this report is suggesting the same thing concerning the availability of the iPhone 8.
