Rumors were clamoring that the Galaxy S8 would feature a dual-camera to encourage more sales ever since the Galaxy Note7 fallout took place but it looks like Samsung has other intentions that it would like to bring to fruition. The impressive craftsmanship of the newly released flagship only means that the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 will be improved from every aspect, and that also includes the optics side of things.

According to the latest rumor, the upcoming Note 8 will come with a dual-camera upgrade, which should give future potential customers the incentive to make the upgrade if they have not already purchased a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+.

Aside From a Dual-Camera, Galaxy Note 8 Is Also Expected to Be Running a SoC That’s Faster Than the One Running in the Galaxy S8

South Korean media has pointed out a rumor that has been stated several times ever since the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were shipping with just a single rear-mounted lens. MK News states that the upcoming flagship phablet will have a dual-camera and thanks to previous leaks and announcements, that is not going to be the only upgrade we can expect from Samsung’s upcoming crown jewel.

A while back, the tech giant announced its 10nm FinFET LPP technology, detailing how this will result in 10 percent performance increase and up to 15 percent efficiency gain. The new and improved Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 could most likely be present in the upcoming Note 8, along with some other improvements such as a larger screen and possibly a resolution that exceeds the QHD+ barrier.

With the Galaxy S8+ featuring a massive 6.2-inch QHD+ display, the Galaxy Note 8 has been rumored to come with a display with a screen size of either 6.35 or 6.4 inches. The dual-camera technology is far from perfect in phones right now, so remember to take this info with a pinch of salt.
