Looks like Apple just might launch the iPad Pro 10.5 inch later this month. The device has been in the rumor mill for quite a while. Its launch will mark a new direction for the company, with Cupertino rumored to overhaul its design outlook this year. The 10.5 inch iPad from Apple will start things off with the edge to edge display that's expected to be one of the hottest features of the iPhone 8 due later this year form Apple. Apple Will Ship 5 Million 10.5 iPad Pro Units This Year According To The Company's Upstream Supply Chain

One of the major sources of information related to Apple's products is its supply chain. Tim Cook's creation has served Apple well but continues as a painful thorn in Cupertino's side. Apple's desire for secrecy prior to launches is legendary, particularly in the Jobs era. But now, even it seems powerless to control the flow of information from the far East. Now, the supply chain is back today and has more information related to the 10.5 inch iPad Pro.

Sources expect that the company will ship between 5-6 million units of the tablet this year. Apple's shipment volume in July will increase by 100,000 units to 600,000. This suggests that a launch just might be around the corner, as it'll simply be redundant for the company to produce this many tablets without an actual launch. WWDC will take place next month, from the 5th to the 9th and the company has launched hardware at the conference before.

"the device's monthly shipment volume is expected to grow to 600,000 units in July, up from around 500,000 units currently, helping its annual shipments to reach five million units in 2017, according to some market watchers. The 10.5-inch iPad Pro began mass production in March-April." according to DigiTimes. To back this up, we've also got a prediction by famed Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo believes that there is a 70% chance that the tablet will make it on WWDC and he generally knows what he's taking about when it comes to Apple.

The 10.5 inch iPad Pro is rumored to feature an edge to edge display. It'll mark a new start for Apple's displays, just like the 9.7 inch iPad Pro did with the DCI-P3 gamut. As for the upgraded 12.5 inch iPad Pro, the supply chain expects a late debut for the device, possibly around November. Thoughts?
