In a world where phablets are the most preferred of smartphone picks thanks to their larger screen real estate and massive battery capacities, it would be crazy to think that Apple’s iPhone SE would manage to find a place amongst the larger devices. However, it turns out that not only has it found a suitable market, but has obtained the highest customer satisfaction score, according to a survey.

iPhone SE Has Managed to Overtake the Likes of the iPhone 7 Plus and Galaxy S7 edge With Ease

According to ACSI Managing Director David VanAmburg, even he agrees that the trend has moved across the larger smartphone spectrum. However, we’re under the assumption that because the 4-inch iPhone SE features improved hardware and a battery life that’s potentially better than the iPhone 6s, it becomes a better choice for the consumer that prefer compact mobile devices.

“Over the past few years, the general trend for smartphones has been toward larger screens. But apparently, consumers were craving a new iteration of a smaller, less expensive phone as the iPhone SE – Apple’s first update to a 4-inch phone since 2013 – comes in first in ACSI this year.”

The surprising thing is that the iPhone SE managed to edge past Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus as well as the Galaxy S7 edge and both of them are regarded as the best possible phones from 2016. However, we can understand why consumers were not fond of the iPhone 7 Plus; its lack of design change when compared to iPhone 6s Plus.

Although there were notable internal upgrades, it did not really warrant a purchase, especially when you have a game-changing iPhone 8 expected to get announced during the month of September.

If you’re in the market for an iPhone with a smaller screen size and with more features than you can possibly take advantage of, then look no further than the iPhone SE.
