Capcom Confirms Monster Hunter XX For Nintendo Switch

Capcom has confirmed Monster Hunter XX the Nintendo Switch.

The Japanese developer and publisher announced the news on its official Japanese website. Pronounced as Monster Hunter Double Cross, the Switch version is an expanded version of Monster Hunter Generations, which was released for the Nintendo 3DS last year.

Capcom will be releasing more information about the Switch game during this year's Monster Hunter Championship event on May 27th. Please note that Capcom has only confirmed that the game will be released in Japan, though chances are high that the game will release in the West later on as well.

Insanely popular in Japan, the Monster Hunter franchise started with the original Monster Hunter on Sony’s PS2. In the series, the player fulfills the role of a hunter in a fantasy setting and completes missions by hunting out specific kinds of monsters.
