Square Enix has plenty of high profile titles in the works, but aside from Dragon Quest XI, they lack even a release window. Those eagerly anticipating Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III will still have to wait a bit to get their hands on these games.

In an outline of Square Enix's financial briefings for the previous fiscal year, Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda commented on a slide showcasing released and upcoming titles, stating that all upcoming titles, including Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III, will be released in the next three years or so, meaning that both titles should be out by 2020. With Final Fantasy VII Remake being an episodic release, it's not clear if Matsuda meant that the full experience will be out by then, or just some of it.
