If you've been eyeballing for a hot new display to go with your gaming setup then the ASUS ROG Swift Curve PG35VQ display will definitely pique your interest.

Curved? Check. Quantum Dot? Check. HDR? Check. 200Hz Refresh Rate? Check.

Good displays tend to make an entrance every now and then, but there are only a select few that check all the right boxes. The ASUS PG35VQ is definitely one them which was announced at Computex 2017.

To begin with, the ASUS ROG Swift Curve PG35VQ is aimed to gamers and features a curved panel at a whopping 35-inches. But things go through the roof once you learn that the panel is not your everyday run of the mill tech - it's Quantum Dot Technology, which means colors will stay vibrant every step of the way, regardless of what you plan to do with it. And the icing on the cake is HDR support, making your content pop when it comes to color depth.

Since this display is aimed towards gamers, therefore ASUS saw it fit to go ahead with the 21:9 ultra wide aspect ratio with a UQWHD resolution of 3440x1440, that too curved. ASUS suggests that this will give users a true panoramic view regardless of what sort of work they're into. Gaming 'work' of course.

Flipping the coin around, the PG35VQ features a refresh rate of 200Hz. No, that's not a typo. This beast of a display goes beyond the traditional boundaries to deliver the smoothest refresh rates possible on such a scale. Just make sure you have a graphics card powerful enough to take advantage of those extra few cycles. But I'm sure you already knew that, didn't you? And yes, in case you're wondering, this panel features NVIDIA G-Sync tech as well.

Last but not the least, the panel offers a brightness of 1000 nits, complies with the HDR10 standard and offers a wider DCI-P3 color space. This means that this panel is great for content creators as well. Not just gamers.

Apart from the details mentioned above, there's nothing else to go along with. Pricing and availability will likely be made available in the near future. And we will update this post accordingly to reflect that, so stay tuned in the time to come.
