The strange thing about the iPhone 7s Plus is not the similar dual-camera configuration on the iPhone 7 Plus, but the fact that there is no home button in sight. Rumors did claim that Apple would be getting rid of the home button eventually, but those rumors were linked to the iPhone 8, not the remaining two models that would be announced alongside it.

Naturally, the iPhone 8 is expected to get a few exclusive features, starting with the vertically stacked dual-camera, which might include some AR upgrades. These features might not be present in the iPhone 7s Plus, thus leaving Apple to generate handsome profits through a premium smartphone pricing business model. As for the actual price of the iPhone 8, there have been some deviations as of late.

On one end, reports state that the iPhone 8 will retail for a price of $999, while other analysts state that the smartphone’s base version will set the user back by $870 while the premium variant will cost $1,070.
