Pokemon GO- Chicago here I come!
To kick things off the first thing in the set of events is a Solstice Event on the 13th of June 2017. This is an in-game event and will be featuring Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon. If you manage to throw Poké Balls accurately you will get huge XP bonuses. There will also be a new group gameplay feature that will allow you to play the game in much more exciting ways. The company is in preparation of the event and till then will be disabling Gyms from the game.
The best thing is yet to come. The company has announced its first ever real-world Pokémon GO event- Pokémon GO Fest Chicago! The event will take place on July 22nd 2017 in the beautiful Grant Park in downtown Chicago, Illinois, USA. The company has a ton of festivities prepared for fans. Europe and Japan
European trainers, don’t be disappointed. Pokémon GO celebrations will be held across the continent from June to September. These celebrations will be brought to you by the Pokémon GO team and Unibail-Rodamco shopping centers. The events haven’t been announced yet but soon the details will be posted. Things don’t end here. There is more. There will be a ‘Pickachi Outbreak’, an event in Yokohama, Japan.
