For months, we’ve been hearing about a new Galaxy Note7 variant called Galaxy Note FE, along with a certain number of changes it will bring to the table when compared to 2016’s discontinued phablet. Samsung does intend to milk a percentage of money after investing a lot of funds on the smartphone, and according to the latest info, the unveiling of the device is said to take place during the first week of July.

Galaxy Note FE Also Rumored to Be Running Bixby – No Details Provided About Phablet Getting Its Own Dedicated Assistant Button

Unlike the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, which came with their own dedicated button for summoning Samsung’s own variant of a virtual assistant named Bixby, the latest rumor via ETNews claims that while the Galaxy Note FE will come with this feature, there are no reports provided on that dedicated button. Our guess is that you can comfortably summon Bixby on the Note FE through voice commands.

What the report does state is that Samsung has reportedly increased the number of refurbished units it is going to be selling. Initially, it was expected that the company was going to go through with selling 150,000 units, but that figure has been bumped up to 450,000, which might reveal that the tech giant is more than serious about getting some traction from its 2016 flagship.

In case you are wondering, there are some notable changes dotted down in the specifications column to prevent any more accidents from taking place. One of them is the fact that the Galaxy Note FE will have a flatter screen as opposed to the curved edge glass you saw on the original model. In addition, the battery capacity will be reduced from 3,500mAh to 3,000-3,200mAh, just to be on the safe side.

Pricing of the phablet is expected to be $620 if the rumor holds true. The only question is, are you interested in making a purchase? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
