Following the less ambitious Super Mario 3D Land and Super Mario 3D World, with Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo is finally developing the game fans of Super Mario 3D and Super Mario Galaxy have been waiting for a long time.

During yesterday's Nintendo E3 2017 Spotlight, the Japanese publisher showed a brand new Super Mario Odyssey which revealed new locations and new abilities. Especially interesting is the ability to take over enemies, something that should open up some interesting gameplay possibilities.

With capture, Mario can take control of all sorts of things, including objects and enemies! Visit astonishing new locales, like skyscraper-packed New Donk City, and run into familiar friends and foes as you try to save Princess Peach from Bowser’s clutches and foil his dastardly wedding plans.
Super Mario Odyssey launches on October 27th in all regions exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
