Galaxy Note 8 August early announcement

t was earlier reported that the announcement of the Galaxy Note7 was rushed so that Samsung could have obtained an early lead against Apple and the company’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus family. We all know how that turned out, and according to the latest info, it appears that Samsung might not have learned its lesson after all. The South Korean firm has this time been reported to expedite the unveiling of the Note 8 in order to get an early lead against the feature-enriched and radically changed iPhone 8.

Samsung Might Not Have to Worry About Battery Woes Any Longer With the Galaxy Note 8 Unveiling - Could Follow Same Rigorous Procedures It Did With Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

Earlier, Galaxy Note 8 was rumored to be announced at a later date in August, with the event most likely taking place after the IFA 2017 trade show. However, according to The Bell, it looks like the date has been pushed much earlier, with the phablet expected to be unveiled during the initial weeks of August. While that is an ambitious plan, Samsung should be extremely careful about what transpired with the Note7 the last time the tech giant decided to rush the announcement of its flagship.

Though the battery checks are now in the company’s control, there are other complications that could arrive in the near future, so we believe that Samsung should tackle them with a singular focus rather than announce the phone earlier than the iPhone 8. However, another suitable alternative would be to take pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 8 and sell it at a much later period to ensure that the smartphone does not exhibit any issues that may end up piercing through the company’s finances later on.

Galaxy Note 8 has been rumored to be the first smartphone to come armed with a Snapdragon 836, resulting in greater processing firepower than the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Samsung will bring back the stylus for the device, adding more functionality to elevate the Android smartphone experience.
