Being based on one of the most popular, if not the most popular, manga and anime series ever created, Dragon Ball FighterZ, the fighting game currently in development for PC and consoles by Arc System Works, will have a wide market appeal which may influence the way the game is played. Fans of the team's fighting games like Guilty Gear and BlazBlue will apparently have nothing to fear, judging from what the game producer recently stated.

In a fresh interview posted on the Bandai Namco Official YouTube channel, Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki stated that the team is aiming to create a game that satisfies fans of fighting games, a statement that's reassuring for those who are looking for a deep and involving fighting game.
