Some key art and logos have surfaced for the yet to be confirmed Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

“Through sketches and renders, we explored varying concepts for the Shadow of the Tomb Raider logo and key art”, read the studio’s description on a page on its website, which has now been pulled. “This process consisted of using the different pillars of the game as inspiration to accurately portray the brand”. The cached version of that page can be found here.

The early art clearly shows Lara is various poses wearing new weapons, including a small sword, machete, and a spear. Additionally, the art shows pyramids for Lara to explore.

Rumors about Shadow of the Tomb Raider began circulating the web when it allegedly leaked on the Montreal Subway last year. Kotaku's Jason Schreier later confirmed the rumor to be true.

As covered last month, Square Enix will likely officially announce the game later this year.

This will be a quiet E3 for Lara, but we’re looking forward to catching up on her new adventure later this year", Crystal Dynamics' Senior Community Manager, Meagan Marie, allegedly shared with official Tomb Raider fansite, Turning Point, last month.

While the art appears legit, nothing has been confirmed about the next Tomb Raider game. As always, we will keep you updated in case we learn more.
